About Us

Subha Comprehensive Cancer Care Pvt Ltd. was started with the sole purpose of providing state of the art, affordable, 360 degree cancer care with genuine compassion . It is India’s first chain of dedicated Cancer Care Clinics that will bring personalised care to the patient’s doorstep. It was conceived by a team of doctors who were internationally trained and have long years of academic experience in major cancer care institutions in the west and in India. All types of Blood Diseases will also be treated and eventually we propose to start Stem Cell (Bone Marrow) Transplantation and offer Clinical Trials as well. All cases will be discussed in a multidisciplinary Tumor Board across all centers. Difficult or interesting cases will be discussed with international faculty from universities in the USA.

Collecting our own data and analysing it for the ultimate betterment of our own people is an important goal. An ancillary skill development program is also planned under the auspices of the Telangana Government, to train healthcare workers in managing basic aspects of cancer, emergencies and comfort care.

Dr Ashwin M Shah

Dr. Ashwin M Shah, Sr. Consultant Radiation Oncologist, has been working as an oncologist for over 30 years. He received his formal radiation oncology training at MNJ Institute of Oncology, Hyderabad. He has also received training at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. He had the opportunity to work with Dr. Dattatreyudu Nori at Queen’s Hospital, New York. He has vast experience in dealing with various types of cancer. He has done numerous brachytherapy procedures (intracavitary, interstitial, intraluminal) for cancer of cervix, head and neck, sarcomas and oesophagus. His special interests lie in head and neck, and gynaecological malignancies. He is well versed with all the latest type of radiotherapy treatment modalities like IMRT, Rapid Arc, Tomotherapy, Image guided radiotherapy and stereotactic radiation (SRS, SRT, SBRT).

Dr. Srinivas Chakravarthy Gummaraju

Dr Chakravarthy is American Board Certified in Medicine, Hematology and in Medical Oncology.He trained at the Univ of California, Davis and at the Univ of Washington, Seattle. He served in a faculty position as Asst. Professor at the Univ of California, Davis and has served as a Medical Director of the Univ. of California-Fremont Rideout Cancer Center. He was HOD of Medical Oncology & Hematology as well as Director, Bone Marrow Transplant Program at Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. He is the Chairman and Founder Director of Subha Comprehensive Cancer Care Pvt. Ltd. There are numerous professional publications and awards to his credit. And voted among best doctors both in the USA and in India, in several surveys.

Dr. Nalini Yadala

Senior Consultant Radiation Oncologist

Dr Nalini has formerly been a Professor of Radiation Oncology at the MNJ Cancer Institute at Hyderabad. She has trained at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London and is a Senior Consultant Radiation Oncologist at Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills and Yashoda Hospital, Somajiguda. She has great interest and years of experience with latest radiation techniques and in brachytherapy techniques, especially in Gynecological Malignancies.
